Linda Gutierrez

Linda has always had a passion for sports & exercise. She played competitive sports growing up & continued to be active through college. Even though she got an engineering degree, she found herself getting spin certified right out of college to teach clases after work at the on-site company gym. After being a spin instructor for a year, travel for her job got in the way of teaching. But fitness always remained a passion and place of joy for her.

Linda restarted her group fitness instructor journey shortly after moving to Ft. Leavenworth, KS where her husband was stationed. She was a stay-at-home mom with her daughter, Gracie, and found the gym was more than just a place to exercise. Attending fitness classes helped with stress, gave her a break from mom duty & helped her find friends. Linda found herself getting certified while being 2 months pregnant with her youngest daughter, Ellie. From there, one class turned into 3, one certification turned into many, and she eventually became the group fitness coordinator at the local gym along with teaching all things but yoga.

When her family moved to Stillwater in 2018, Linda continued to teach group fitness classes while also obtaining her Personal Trainer certification. She has found joy in helping people find their strength & confidence through fitness. Linda believes that exercise should be fun: working out with friends help people work harder, smile more & know that they are not alone in the ups & downs of life.

When not in the gym, Linda can usually be found with her daughters, Gracie & Ellie. Whether it’s coaching their soccer & softball teams or taking care of their flock of chickens, Linda continues to count her blessings everyday & hopes she can make a positive impact in the lives of others.
